JFL morning
Goals:
- To be able to Ta-adjectives
- To be able to speak in orders
- To be able to give advices
Class activities:
- To learn how to talk, how to listen and how to ask through presentations
Grammar and Vocabularies:
- Ta, soshite, sorekara, shikashi, bekida etc.

Class I
Goals:
- To be able to sit down with a right posture, and to be able to write Hiragana letters with right stroke orders.
- To be able to feel Spring season
Class activities:
- To make a small book, which contains words with learned Hiragana; and to be familiar with those words
- To learn the basics of Origami crafts by making Spring flowers
- To sing a spring song lively
Grammar and Vocabularies:
- To gather words starting with letter YA, YU, YO, WA, O, N and to learn right stroke orders of these letters and how to write them neatly

Class II
Goals:
- To understand a variety of greetings; to be able to read and write them; and to be use them appropriately
- To get to know the rules of small letters and geminated consonants; and to be able to read and write them
Class activities:
- To look for words which contains small letters and geminated consonants
- To learn with “wording cards”
- T0 practice tongue twisters which contain small letters
Grammar and Vocabularies:
- Ohayoo gozaimasu, konnichiwa, konbanwa, itadakimasu, gochisousama, ittekimasu, tadaima, koppu, isya, omocha, etc.

Class III
Goals:
- To make sentences from daily events by keeping diary.
- To be familiar with Kodomo no Hi.
Class activities:
- A game - making sentences with “who, where, and what”.
- Origami craft (koinobori)
Grammar and Vocabularies:
- O-shimashita
- Ga-arimashita
- Ga-imashita
- Fukinagashi, higoi, magoi

JFL Afternoon
Goals:
- To be able to make sentences with time.
- To be familiar with Hiragana and Katakana letters
Class activities:
- To learn Japanese basics through games and textbooks
- To make complex sentences
Grammar and Vocabularies:
- XXji ni okimasu, XXji ni gakkou ni ikimasu, etc.

AI
Goals:
- To be able to express, in Japanese, what we feel with our five senses
- To be able to short sentences
Class activities:
- To look for “spring” by walking around school ground
- To come up some sentences by looking at pictures
Grammar and Vocabularies:
- Hana ga saiteiru; tori ga naiteiru; hana no ii nioi ga suru; etc.
- Kitsune ga hashiru; kitsune ga haneru, etc.
- Te, ashi, mimi, kuchi, sei, sora, ki, kusa etc.

Goals:
- To be able to say numbers with counter systems, such as “hiki”, “mai”.
- To be able to write “a letter to mantis” after reading the story.

- To read aloud “kamakiri to shiki”.

- Haru, natsu, aki, huyu, kaze, kusa, kazu, kazoeru, owari etc.

Goals:
- To know how people eat in different countries; and to gain an understanding of it.
- To gain an understanding what is happening after North Japan Earthquake
Class activities:
- To pay attention how people eat in different countries, utilizing the pictures of Hungry Planet.
- To listen to Enchoo-sensei’s North Japan trip experiences
Grammar and Vocabularies:
- Katorarii bunka, tesyoku bunka, hasisyoku bunka, etc.
- ~o XX de tabetara .. desu. Etc.

A-IV
Goals:
- To be able to use expressions regarding conditions
- To be able to use Japanese expressions which are most likely to be used at an amusement park
Class activities:
- To talk about what we did during spring break; to ask questions after listening classmates’ experiences (practices to change written messages (emails) to oral expressions)
- To make sure the sentence structures by a textbook.
Grammar and Vocabularies:
- Yatto, totemo, toutou, kitto, tabun etc.
- V-hajimemasu; V-taku arimasen; V-tsumori desu; N-ni narimashita; V-temimasu; V-teha ikemasen; V-temo ii; V-tekureru; V-node etc.
