February Theme: Setsubun
Class I
Goals:
- To be able to hold a pencil with a right posture, and be able to write letters with the strong pencil pressure.
- To be able to read letters which were already learned.
Class Activities:
- To remember the lyrics of the song for the class performance day, in order to sing the song with confidence and enjoy it.
- To get familiar with reading Hiragana letters by using Hiragana cards including learned ones.
Grammar and Vocabularies:
- To gather words starting with letter HA, HI, HU, HE, HO and to learn right stroke orders of these letters and how to write them neatly

Class II
Goals:
- To be able to enjoy Mamemaki event of Setsubun with friends.
- To get familiar and utilize the words which describe situations
- To be able to read Katakana letters which were already learned.
Class Activities:
- To enjoy Setsubun through making a demon mask and Sanbou, and to participate in Mamemaki event utilizing own loud voice.
- To study adjectives by using opposite-word cards.
Grammar and Vocabularies:
- Ookii, Chiisai, Takai, Hikui, Omoi, Karui, Hosoi, Futoi, Hayai, Osoi, Nagai, Mijikai , etc.

Goals:
- To be familiar with Setsubun event through a variety of activities related to Setsubun
- To continue practices for Katakana letters
- To make a brief sentence
Class Activities:
- Craft of demon’s mask for Setsubun
- Craft of Sanbou, using Origami paper
- To listen to the history of Setsubun
- To enjoy Mamemaki event

Goals:
- To be able to talk about a certain topic

- To recognize what I want to say (what I can say), and what I cannot say
- To practice repeatedly till being able to utter fluently

- To repeat practices for the class performance day in March.
- To get familiar with the natural speed in conversations.

- To be able to say time and daily routines
- To be able to sing a Japanese song
