May’s Word… “I am sorry” (Gomen nasai)
When the big carp streamers are not swimming in the air, children are cheering for the carp streamers to swim. "Wind! Blow!", "Carp Streamers, swim!" The mulberry shoots are so bright and shiny. One of the children's interests is "Loquats". They were waiting for loquats to become yellow and ripe.
"Can I get it, sensei?"
"You can pick the one looks ripe."
"But just one. One loquat per person."
"Make sure to wash the fruit and peel the skin. Be careful with the seed."

The Kiku Class children visited Keiro Home as Easter Celebration on April 18th. Everyone was looking forward to ride on the yellow school bus and visit the Keiro Home. The grandfathers and grandmothers at the home had a great time playing with children by singing songs, playing motions with hands, and gesture games. Children shook each and everyone's hand, and said our good byes to the eldery people who made a long line with their wheel chairs. Everyone gave their great energy to the eldery people at the home. Thank you, the Kiku Class mothers who came along, for the help. We appreciated your assistance very much.
