Our Spring Break:

*I visited Palm Springs where there was already summer-like hot weather. After enjoying a walk in downtown, I had a very relaxing time at the pool and Jacuzzi. On the way back home, I saw the desert that spread out as far as the eye could see, countless windmills... my heart also got spread out and it was such a nice feeling. (Kanno)

*Started out by visiting the outdoor event "Tokyo City Cup" to enjoy Japanese Ramen under the hot sun, then off to Catalina Island, walking around again under the hot sun. I am already nicely tanned, in April! I also enjoyed some driving, and looking for some good restaurants with my friends. It was a very relaxing spring break, and I am totally 're-charged' - I am ready for the 3rd trimester! (Hashiba)

*I visited Catalina Island with Hashiba-sensei and Yamamoto-sensei during spring break. It was awesome to enjoy the various seafood dishes while enjoying the clear sky and ocean view. I am ready to start the 3rd trimester with full smiles! (Egou)

*I had a relaxing spring break visiting Catalina Island with other teachers. The new trimester is full of fun events!! I spent the last few days of the spring break getting excited to see all my students, who must be looking forward to those fun events! I am ready for the 3rd trimester with full energy! (Yamamoto)

*My spring break was full of fun, visiting colleges in Southern California with my two daughters, and enjoying the walk and lunch in downtown with my friends. The fun time concluded with a birthday party for my daughters. Many people came over to celebrate it with us. It was a special time … enjoying every moment with them and wishing the best for their future. (Ogino)

*I just came home from a short trip to Japan, where I enjoyed the full bloom of the cherry blossoms. I am so happy to see that my 92-year old mother is doing really well, thanks to a one-month old great grandchild, who is full of positive energy for life. My grandchildren are moving up to the next stage of life - college and elementary school. And here I am … I am back feeling refreshed! This coming 3rd trimester, I will appreciate and cherish each day I have, and do my very best. (Umehata)
