This update contains a list of our volunteers for each event/committee. Thank you to everyone who has graciously offered their time and talents! We also have some updates to share regarding our upcoming Christmas party and Mochi pounding (Mochitsuki) event and would like to share our most current fundraising report.

News from the event committee

It’s already November and the holiday season is just around the corner.
Kodomono Ie's December Christmas Party and January’s Mochitsuki event are two of the three major events that we host throughout the school year.
The event committee has already started to prepare for these two events,
For each of these events we are still in need of volunteers and donations. We will send an email soon regarding these needs which include some of the following:
Donations of food and drink to be served at the Christmas Party (either by individuals or companies and shops that might be willing to help)
We are also recruiting a sound engineer ,videographer and editor for the Christmas DVD production.
We hope to capture this event in order to create lasting memories for the children and each of your families.
If you have any questions, opinions etc. please inform the event committee, class mother, or KNI staff.

Fundraising news

The new semester of Kodomono Ie began and we conducted two fundraisers within 2 months.
A complete report is coming soon! Thank you to all of you who participated!

☆Aspire

We had more participants than last year!
We had 35 people sign up, taking in a total of $1568, and obtaining a revenue of $658.85 (about 42%)
Thank you very much!

☆T-shirt/sweatshirt

Thank you to all of our participants! We had 45 people sign up.
We will report our profit in next month's newsletter.

(Please note the following request for our recycling guidelines.)

Please make sure to bring bottles which have the ONLY CA mark on it.
Most of the 100% juice DOESN'T come with a CA mark.
Also, the Recycling center only accepts gallon bottles for water, NOT for milk and others.

Scrip

Please ask if you need the application form for our Scrip fundraiser.
With the holiday season coming in a month, it's a great way to get your gift shopping done
and support Kodomono Ie.
