December’s Goals
Let’s enjoy Christmas with everyone!- Play outside in the nature of winter and recognize the change of season (temperature, wind, sun, air, and rain)
- Enjoy making the Christmas crafts and feel the joy of decorating the rooms
- Take interest and pleasure in the daikon radishes’ growth by talking to them and watering them.
- Look forward to the Christmas party through practicing the nativity play, chorus, and singing.
- Know the true meaning of Christmas while watching the nativity play and listening to the story of the birth of Jesus Christ.
- Get accustomed to personal hygiene measures such as gargling and washing hands.

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this." (Isaiah 9:6-7, NIV84)
As we watch our children learn and grow and experience new things we often wonder what the future holds for them. Will they be doctors, will they be teachers, will they factory workers? Sometimes we find it hard to accept that we, as parents, cannot choose what the future holds for our children.
The passage from the Old Testament prophet Isaiah speaks of one child of whom God himself had determined what his future would be. This child would grow up to be our Wonderful Counselor, our Everlasting Father, and our Prince of Peace. This child would establish a kingdom of justice and righteousness that will never end. May you and your family experience the joy of the Christmas season as we celebrate the birth of the child of whom God had determined would be our Prince of Peace.
