This year’s AP Japanese test, officially called AP Japanese Language and
Culture, starts at 12:00 on Wednesday, May 6. This year, thanks to the
efforts by the parents, we were able to secure the test location during
February whereas in the past years, we had to wait until March after a long
and difficult search. This month, we will practice the class
presentation (3/21) and introduce the AP test. We will set aside a short
period of time to self-study AP test for the students who are taking the test this year. As the test name indicates, understanding of the Japanese culture
that has been developed through conversations in Japanese, interaction with
their friends in Japan or family members and traditional customary events
will come into play. If interested, you can
access sample tests at https://www.collegeboard.org/.
